International Tourist Tariff is set by the Royal Government of Bhutan and is valid for all inclusive packages.
Minimum tourist tariff for tourists visiting in a group of 4 persons or more is USD 200 per person per night.
Supplement Charge: Individual tourists and group size of less than 2 persons to surcharge, in addition to the minimum daily tariff, as follows:
Single individual: US$ 40 per night. Group of 2 Persons: US$ 30 per night per person.Tariff includes the minimum daily tariff of royalty, taxes, accommodation on twin-sharing basis, all meals, sightseeing, guide, transportation, and entrance fees to the monuments etc. On treks it includes tents, pack ponies/yaks, trekking guide, cook and meals.
Discount on Tourist Tariff: The following are subject to approval from the Tourism Council of Bhutan.
a) Children of 4 years and under free. b) Children between 5-11 years 50% discount. c) A full time student below the age of 25 years is given a 25% discount (evidence required). d) A 100% discount is given to one member in a group exceeding 16 persons.Agency Commission: 10% of the tour payment is given to the principal agent as commission and can be deducted by the agent at source.
Cancellation Charges: Trips booked and subsequently cancelled are subject to cancellation charges as follows:
a) 45 days prior to commencement of tour: No cancellation charge b) Within 35 days: 10% of the trip cost c) Within 25 days: 15% of the trip cost d) Within 20 days: 30% of the trip cost e) Within 15 days 50% of the trip cost f) Less than 10 days 100% of the trip cost.
