Thank you very much for showing us such a great time in your wonderful country. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and you did everything you possibly could to make our trip as interesting, enjoyable and comfortable as possible. I have already passed on your details to a number of possibly interested parties so hopefully you might hear from one or more of them.
The personal touches of your involvement with your guests – meeting us at the airport and after the trek (with your wife, child and food!), hosting the cultural event and final dinner and, most particularly, the efforts you went to sort out Tony Donald’s boot problems went far beyond what we could have expected. This sort of service to your clients will always be remembered and I think will lead you to receive many recommendations.
Similarly you have excellent people working for you. In particular Dakpa was a very friendly, effective and easy guide for whom nothing was too much trouble. On the trek he handled the team very well and, if there was ever any trouble, we never knew anything about it. We were very happy with the hotel accommodation – in particular the hotel at Paro with the enormous rooms and delightful service.
The cultural evening (not usually my preferred sort of event!) was very enjoyable and we were very impressed to have so many dancers and musicians laid on just for six of us.
The standard of equipment on our hike was very high and having such good tents and sleeping bags made a lot of difference to the comforts of the trip. Woon is not a natural camper (like you I suspect!) so it was really important that the equipment made her as comfortable as possible.
The food was good but I think most of us are used to a more varied diet. It would be hard to criticize individual meals but they were all rather similar to each other so if you could do something to vary the meals when staying in hotels (difficult to have too much variety when camping) I think your guests would appreciate it. The Indian food in the hotel in Thimphu was excellent!
Compared to everything else on the trip the hot stone bath seemed very expensive. It would have been better to have been told the price before we had decided to have the bath.
Goembo – I think you offer a fantastic experience that represents exceptional value for money for visitors such as ourselves. I’ll definitely be back if I can persuade Woon to make a return visit! If we come we will definitely look to use your company again.
Many thanks for a wonderful experience.
Best wishes,

Hello Goembo,
Bhutan is a magical kingdom to me. It has a deep spiritual culture that goes back more than a few thousand years to the time of the Buddha and earlier. Aside from the religious aspect, Bhutan also offers the tourist great adventure, physically, spiritually and aesthetically.
Its mountains and valleys offers spectacular views of a land that is as old as the earth.
I have visited Bhutan more than seven times for work and as a tourist. Lately as leader of groups of friends who have always wanted to visit Bhutan but needed the guidance of an experienced person. My tour operator contact in Bhutan is SN Excursions, whose chief executive is Goembo Dorji, whom I have known since 1986. Goembo is a trusted friend and knowledgeable contact in this Land of the Peaceful Dragon. You will be guided and hosted by very experienced and secure hands when you travel to Bhutan by SN Excursions.

Many thanks to SN Excursions for organizing our amazing trip! Goembo and his staff, especially our guide Sonam and our driver Tenzing were fantastic. A group of 9 of us spent 8 nights in Bhutan and it was the most amazing and wonderful trip for all of us. The country, the sights, the scenery, and the people were well worth the trip and it would not have been anywhere near as much fun or as interesting without our guide and driver. We loved every second of our trip and I promise to be back so that I can take my parents!
